How to Cook Chicken Wings in the Slow Cooker
In a small bowl, mix the seasoning ingredients. Season the wings with the mx. In a small bowl mix the Honey BBQ sauce. Cook on LOW for 4-5 hours or cook on HIGH for 2-3 hours.
Slow cooking the chicken allows the flavors to really absorb into the meat. At this point they are ready to be devoured. If you want a golden crispy chicken you can place the wings on a baking sheet lined with waluminum foil or wax paper and broil the wings in the oven.
If Broiling The Chicken Wings:
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or wax paper for easy cleaning. Place a cooling rack on top of the baking sheet so the wings stay elevated. The rack helps to get the hot air circulating evenly and keeps the sauce from burning.
Place the crocked pot chicken wings on the rack and broil for a few minutes or until golden brown about 2-4 minutes on each side. Flip the wings and broil the other side. You can return the chicken wings to the crock pot and toss with the sauce or you can serve them with the Honey BBQ sauce on the side.

Instructions
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the seasoning ingredients.
- Place the chicken wings in the slow cooker and sprinkle the seasoning mix over the wings. Toss making sure all the wings get well coated with the spices.
- Into a small bowl, add the Honey BBQ sauce ingredients and whisk until well combined. Pour the sauce mixture over the wings and toss. You want to make sure all the wings are coated with the sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook for 2 hours on HIGH or 4 hours on LOW. At this point the wings are cooked through and can be served. However, you can follow the instructions for broiling the wings to achieve a crispy/golden wing.

Broiling Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top (you may need 2 baking sheets or you can broil them in batches).

- In the meantime, after removing all the wings from the slow cooker, mix the cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of water to make a slurry. Add the cornstarch mixture into the slow cooker and mix it well with the Honey BBQ sauce until it is well combined.. Cook on HIGH for 15 - 20
- You can return the wings to the slow cooker and gently toss them until they are all well coated with the sauce and serve them with extra sauce on the side OR you can place the wings in a serving bowl and serve with the sauce on the side.
